Before I know it I’ll be boarding a plane for Pisa and heading on to lovely Lucca.
Come rain or shine we’ll be exploring not only the town, but we’ll also venture out into the countryside.
Charming villages, winding back roads, fields of green, olive trees, and vineyards all waiting to enchant us.
Not to mention the food-but that’s another story!

Ah, these photos invoke such nostalgia–nostalgia of wishing I were where you are! How utterly charming! Every day I dream of Italy. Some day I hope to be able to retire there! 🙂

What a great site you have! So glad I found it today. I’ll be in Lucca in early May, leading a tour for 3 friends in Pisa, Lucca & Florence. Sounds like you are living my dream!
Ciao,
Susan

Our Kitchen Inventions-when exactly will you be there? I’m getting excited and I bet you are too! Are you staying in the centro of Lucca?

I’ll be there in cooking class from May 6-11, then the tour with friends and hubby, then back to US on May 21st. VERY excited and looking forward to our visit. Will be in centro storico of Lucca. It is our favorite place to stay – right in the middle of the action inside the walls.
